Right..a bit about me! I’m a husband to Dannii and a dad to twin girls whose birthday is on NYE – Grace and Miley. I have a huge love for music with a varied love of all things from the 50’s to current chart. I’ve had a love for radio pretty much since the day I met London based DJ Neil Long. He was an overnight jock on Capital FM before they went network where I would be taking calls from listeners and lining them up to speak to him. When he’d take a loo break I’d be in the driving seat cueing up the following tracks/jingles and ads and firing them off til he’d return. From that point on that was my passion to follow in his footsteps. Spending time around Neil gave me the opportunity to meet some great presenters at the station – the likes of Neil Fox, Steve Penk and one Sunday night, Chris Moyles, running into the HQ when still at the Euston Tower late for his show (a regular thing) and Neil starting his show for him!
Favourite decade: Born in 1975 I grew up in the 80’s and have a real love for all music from this decade.
Favourite artist: Steve Winwood. Favourite food: Cheese and Crackers though prone to a Butter Chicken. Favourite Radio Station: When not listening to Paisley Radio, I’m a massive fan of speech radio and listen to a lot of presenters on London Based Station LBC where my favourite presenters are Steve Allen (Early Breakfast) and Nick Abbot (Late Night Friday and Saturday’s) if you get a chance, take a listen – they won’t disappoint. When I’m not on the radio I run an entertainments company supplying discos and photo booths to many bride and grooms along with those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries around Surrey, Berkshire and West London.
