Tawnya Renelle

Tawnya Selene Renelle is an experimental writer and educator. She was born in Washington State and said goodbye and good riddance to America over five years ago when she moved to Glasgow to study for her Doctorate in Creative Writing. Based in Renfrew now she runs a small business called Beyond Form Creative Writing which is a hub dedicated to offering accessible workshops, mentorship, publications, and events showcasing experimental and hybrid writing. She has published multiple collections of poetry, performs regularly with a mix of spoken word, raunchy debaucherous material, and sometimes a bit of burlesque thrown in. She was recently awarded CHEF funding and will be running a free creative writing program in Paisley starting in 2023. When she isn’t writing, reading, or performing, Tawnya enjoys the simple things in life like walks, jigsaws, baking, and going to gigs. What’s the most unhinged thing she’s ever done?
