The team at PaisleyRadio.com are delighted to announce that they have received funding from The National Lottery, an award from The National Lottery Community Fund, made possible by National Lottery players. This funding will help to provide the station with vital equipment and increase our online presence.
PaisleyRadio.com chairperson Paul Wycherley said “We are thrilled to have been given this funding, as it helps us in growing and securing the station’s future”.
Station Manager Chris Lawler said “It’s a great honour to have been awarded this funding, which helps to develop our studio space into a highly functional radio station, in turn confirming our status as an online entity. We will be able to offer training to local educational establishments and undertake further projects to the benefit of the local community and the wider surrounding areas. It’s another fantastic achievement for the station after only 3 years of being on the air”.
The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland Chair, Kate Still, said “This project, delivered by PaisleyRadio.com, is a great example of community activity in action, showing just what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause or to help others. It’s all thanks to National Lottery players that we can help give charities and community groups throughout Scotland greater certainty during challenging times.”
